Date Night | 20th Century Lanes | Estefany Moreno

I’ve never experienced a bad moment at 20th Century Lanes. It’s the perfect place to double date. There’s food, drinks, cosmic bowling, good music and a separate bar for 21+.

This place definitely has my vote for a date night that’s unique and fun!

Performing Arts | Boise Contemporary Theater | Amanda “Ammo” Morgan

We’ve attended some pretty cool shows at BCT. We went to one that was just a reading (no “acting” other than just voicing the characters) and it was really good! They even perform some plays that they’ve written themselves. It’s a tiny theater, so the experience is really cool because you’re in the middle of it all.

Date Night | Happy Fish & Pengilly’s | Amanda “Ammo” Morgan

My go-to at Happy Fish is Sashimi Moriawase. I never know how to pronounce it, but I ALWAYS love it!  The plating is different each time, chef’s choice. The dish includes 15 pieces of sashimi with a salad or soup, and a side bowl of rice! Their fish is always super fresh and it melts in your mouth.

After dinner, I’d want to do one of my favorite things in the whole world: walk around downtown Boise. I love my neighborhood, and I’m proud of our big little city. On a summer evening at dusk, when a warm breeze is blowing, and street performers are playing a tune… it’s a magical feeling.

After our walk, we would head over to Pengilly’s. It would have to be a Thursday, because that is the night the Frim Fram 4 plays! FF4 is a jazz quartet heavily influenced by some greats like Nat King Cole and Ella Fitzgerald. The perfect Boise date night!

Morrison Center Review

Performing Arts | Morrison Center | Virginia Treat

I may be a bit biased, but the Morrison Center is one of a kind in my eyes. One can’t help but be amazed by the diversity of events that come into the Center. Where else can you see a National touring Broadway Musical and then a week later catch a wonderful work of art from our local arts group or perhaps a concert or comedy show?

Date Night | The Village at Meridian | Virginia Treat

Jeremy and I love “date night” when we can carve out some time. One of our favorite things to do together is go to dinner and a movie. The Village at Meridian is a great place to do both. We can grab a couple VIP movie tickets and a little something from the Backstage Bistro and enjoy!

Date Night | Graeber & Company & Gino’s Italian & Table Rock | Jennifer Puente

We LOVE date night!!! Mama bear & papa bear need time to ourselves! It’s very far and few in between but when we do have time to have an “official date night”, out of the ordinary dinner and a movie, we go all out! Starting with dual massages at Graeber & Company in Downtown Boise. They seriously have the best customer service. Not to mention they carry my favorite hair & skin product -Aveda! After our massages we grab an early dinner at our favorite Italian restaurant, Gino’s Italian Ristorante in Meridian. You can’t get more authentic than Gino’s! After dinner we drive to the top of Table Rock and watch the sunset, in peace and quiet, if you know what I mean!

Date Night | Asiago’s

Asiago’s is a great hot spot for dates. The seafood pasta in white wine and butter sauce is amazing, and though it’s hopping, it’s still quiet and romantic enough to connect with that special someone.

Date Night | The Fork & Fast Lane Indoor Kart Racing

Grab a sitter… I will let you in on the best secret for Date Night! Tuesday night’s at The Fork followed by Go-Karts at Fast Lane Indoor Kart Racing. Tuesday nights are special because it is the only night that The Fork offers Chicken and Waffles! These are something all of their own. Literally. I have never experienced anything like this decadent dish. But, to be honest, I can’t tell which part of this date night combo is the crucial ingredient. I think if you’re going to have a week night date night, you can’t have one of these without the other. This is the perfect combo of delicious food and tons of fun!
