Happy Hour | Mai Thai | Amanda “Ammo” Morgan
Have you ever heard of Izakaya? Ask for it next time you’re at Mai Thai between the hours of 5-6:30pm (or late night!). It’s the small-plate happy hour menu that includes delicious Japanese-Fusion favorites and 2-for-1 drinks. Eating lots of little things is way more fun than eating one big thing.Visit Mai Thai
Happy Hour | Bardenay Restaurant & Distillery | Virginia Treat
Bardenay gets my vote for best Daylife Happy Hour location. I love everything on their Happy Hour menu. Their hummus plate is a perfect place to start if your taste buds just cannot decide what other dish to settle on.
This is where I would go to have some adult time. If I were to catch a quick bite to eat after work with some of my co-workers or meet up with some friends… Bardenay would be the first on my list.Visit Bardenay Restaurant & Distillery
Bar | Bittercreek Alehouse
Bittercreek Alehouse is my location of choice to enjoy a frosty cold beverage. They carry over 39 different taps from Western-US-based breweries and keep the selection fresh, so I try something new every time I visit. For a unique and informational twist, they list on the beer menu how many miles each brewery is located from Boise. This local establishment prides itself on helping you think, buy, eat and drink local.Visit Bittercreek Alehouse
Happy Hour | Bardenay & The Matador
My favorite Happy Hour in the Treasure Valley goes to The Matador Restaurant and Tequila Bar & Bardenay Restaurant and Distillery. Sorry I couldn’t decide between the two! Bardenay Restaurant and Distillery’s skewers are what have my heart. Their Balsamic & Soy Marinated Beef Sirloin skewers with wasabi sour cream dipping sauce are to die for! I typically order about 3 with a Cesar side salad!
You just can’t go wrong with The Matador’s $5 Chorizo Tacos, Chicken Quesadilla, & their amazing Fire House Chili! What? I eat a lot! No but really, they have a great variety when it come to their Happy Hour Menu. Check it out and you’ll see what I’m talking about!

Happy Hour | Goldy’s Corner | Estefany Moreno
After long days of work, I always look forward to a good cocktail to get me re-charged for those chores I’m about to tackle when I get home. I recently found a hidden gem in the heart of Downtown Boise one day during a spur of the moment, evening stroll. The first thing I noticed about Goldy’s was their chalkboard sign outside promoting “1/2 off Mimosas,” the second thing I noticed was the variety in flavors, I was hooked already! So I walked in with a friend, we ordered delicious Mango Mimosas made with real mango juice and talked for hours in their lounge area! Ever since then I make it a tradition to go there at least once a week during their 5-9 pm daily happy hour! Can’t beat $3 mimosas!

Happy Hour | The Matador
Matador’s happy hour is by far my favorite. For a mere $5, the Texas Nachos are plentiful for two, full of all the fixings and their signature sour cream sauce. The habanero prawns are beyond flavorful and perfect for those who enjoy a bit of heat.Visit The Matador
