Live Music | Reef | Paige Hoy

The Reef is a go to spot of mine! Lunch, dinner, or drinks, I always know that The Reef will be an enjoyable experience. During Summer you can enjoy a nice outdoor lunch under the Palapa, and the indoors provide a great atmosphere for any occasion. They always have great live entertainment at The Reef that are reasonably priced and always a blast! Just about every show I’ve been to at The Reef is packed to the brim! Which makes for all the more fun with friends, new and old! Amazing food, friendly service, and yummy beverages. The Reef is a must go for Boise and it’s visitors.

Live Music | Treefort Music Fest | Amanda “Ammo” Morgan

Treefort is like SXSW…except in the NW. The absolute best live music on the Boise scene. Every March, the city erupts in musical bliss at tons of venues. Big names, small names, new names, old names… this year we even saw Boise bands that had disbanded in the 90’s!

People from all over flock to Boise for this live music festival. The people-watching is fantastic, too! I can’t wait to see where The Duckclub takes this massively successful endeavor in the future.

Live Music | Taco Bell Arena | Virginia Treat

The Treasure Valley has quite a large list of live music venues and I have to say that I enjoy the majority of them. If I had to pick a favorite live music venue based on the variety of shows that are offered as well as space provided for the show itself, I would choose Taco Bell Arena. Taco Bell Arena even works well with other venues in town to host shows that other venues have brought in that might be too large to host in their own facility. Their relationship with other businesses in the Treasure Valley also makes them unique.

I love live music. LOVE live music. My husband and I really enjoy getting to go to concerts together. We think it keeps us young and fun. Okay, we are young and fun! That is why we love to get out to as many shows as we can. The Idaho Botanical Garden is absolutely one of the neatest outdoor venues that I have been to. If you are in town during a spring or summer show, this is the #1 place I recommend you check out!

Live Music | The Knitting Factory

In my opinion, the place to watch a show is at The Knitting Factory. Not only did The Knitting Factory offer me my first employment opportunity, but they were also the location where I took my future wife on our first concert date. What is great about the Knitting Factory is that no matter the musical act, it is always an intimate show.

Outdoor concerts on a long, perfect summer evening in Boise is hard to beat.  With the Outlaw Field Summer Concert Series and the Great Garden Escape Concert Series, you’re sure to find a well-known local or national band to keep your ears happy.  My favorite way to enjoy these concerts is to arrive and leave by pedal power via the Greenbelt system.

Live Music | The Knitting Factory

Who doesn’t love a good concert? I know my favorite indoor venue has always been the Knitting Factory! They have been around for so long and I love how it’s located in the heart of BODO. They’ve had all of my favorite musicians perform there and I’ve had many memorable times with my friends at the Knit!
