Joshua Edwards is the author of The Exhausted Dream, Imperial Nostalgias, Photographs Taken at One-Hour Intervals During a Walk from Galveston Island to the West Texas Town of Marfa, and a few other books, and he translated María Baranda's Ficticia. His visual work has been exhibited at the Pensacola Museum of Art, Rice University, the University of Arizona Poetry Center, Galveston Artist Residency, Akademie Schloss Solitude, and elsewhere. Currently in Chicago, he directs Canarium Books, teaches at University of Chicago, and sometimes works as a bookseller.
