Foodfort is a three-day celebration of the food and food systems local to the greater Boise region. As the culinary branch of the Treefort mothership, we work to bring Boise, regional and national chefs, media and experts to help facilitate thinking and discussion about food in our daily lives. Oh yeah, and we also work hard to provide delicious food, be it familiar or new, for Foodfort goers to experience. A TWO-PART TREEFORT FEAST FEATURING TASTES AND TALKS. Tastes: A bustling banquet of local bites served by a creative crew of local and national chefs. Talks: A forum for food-obsessed trailblazers and tastemakers to discuss what’s on their minds and their plates.

Foodfort Tastes is back to dish up the best of festival fare. This year’s chef-farmer-food community dinner, A Night at Kachka, features Chef Bonnie Morales, co-owner and head chef of Kachka in Portland and James Beard finalist. The following evening, local chefs from The Wylder, Madre, Lime & a Coconut, Petite 4, Camel’s Crossing, and Wild Root to present Street Eats, a market-style shindig inspired by the night markets of Asia and South America.
