Calling all whiskey and bourbon lovers. Saturday, April 9th will mark the 3rd Annual Bourbon Bash event in downtown Boise.
It’s been nearly two years since the last celebration, and this means for nearly two years now Bourbon Bash 2022 contributors have stockpiled a huge variety of rare and premium whiskeys to sample – and if you haven’t seen the bottles showcased so far, you should check out their video teasing the event. Let’s just say we’re excited about this opportunity to experience rare, higher-than-top-shelf whiskeys and bourbon.
From Pappy to Boss Hog to 50-year-old scotches and other rare spirits, this year’s event is boasting over 100 premium whiskeys – all available for you to sample. These are bottles that are incredibly difficult to find and very expensive, so if you’re a whiskey connoisseur, this is the ultimate way to sample these truly special bottles.
Event organizer Ted Challenger of Challenger Hospitality Group told us, “I had two years to hunt down some very rare bourbon, scotches, and whiskeys. This event grows each year, and this year we’re going to see it bigger than ever. So big, in fact, that with so many bottles to sample, we’re spreading the event over three floors. Three floors of whiskey!”
And it’s not just the whiskey to get excited over. In a pairing as old as time, Boise tobacco and cigar staple Sturman’s Smoke Shop will have a variety of premium cigars to partake in alongside the top-shelf spirits. Steak appetizers from Snake River Farms and The Brickyard will also be served as you sip and socialize across 3 floors within the building housing StrangeLove Club and Dirty Little Roddy’s at 6th and Main in Downtown Boise.
We whiskey lovers here at This is Boise are ecstatic to partake in Bourbon Bash 2022 and sample this incredible whiskey lineup. Tickets are still available through Saturday for $100 for the main event or $200 for an exclusive pre-party tasting at Amsterdam Lounge.
You can visit the Bourbon Bash event page here to purchase tickets. The organizers tell us the pre-party only has a 50-person capacity with only around 20 tickets left and features two rare, specialty bottles.
