Insider Tips for a Safe and Stress-Free Time at the Carnival

Bundle Up – It should be no surprise, McCall is cold. Good boots, gloves, a hat, thick socks, and sunglasses are must-haves to stay warm and comfortable.

Expect Snow & Ice – McCall gets over 300 inches of snow each winter, so sidewalks and roads can be slick. Watch your step, wear proper footwear, and drive carefully.

Plan Your Route & Parking – Traffic will be congested, especially near parade routes and main events. Give yourself extra time and plan your parking ahead of time.

Go with the Flow – The Carnival is all about community, fun, and a little bit of chaos. Be patient, be kind, and remember: we’re all here to have a good time.
