The holiday season officially kicks off in the Treasure Valley when the Winter Wonder Market opens its doors on Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Riverside Hotel in Garden City, offering free public admission and a full lineup of local makers, artists, and small businesses for holiday shopping.

Launched in 2024, the Winter Wonder Market gives Treasure Valley residents an easy way to support local creators on Small Business Saturday. After a strong turnout in its first year, the event returns with an expanded vendor lineup, added morning activities, and support from event sponsors, including ICCU, Renewal by Andersen, and Perspire Sauna Studio.

“The Winter Wonder Market is our way of celebrating the creative talent in our community and supporting small businesses during the holiday season,” said Aaron McFarland, owner of This Is Boise. “Last year’s event showed how much people value local creators, and we’re excited to bring the market back for its second year with even more to experience.”

A Holiday Market Built Around Community

The Winter Wonder Market was created with a simple goal: make it easier for Treasure Valley residents to shop local, discover new makers, and experience a festive holiday atmosphere without the stress of big-box stores.

Attendees can expect everything from handmade jewelry, candles, ceramics, home goods, seasonal treats, apparel, art, and gift ideas you won’t find anywhere else. Entry is always free, making it one of the most accessible community events of the season.
