Where to Watch the World Cup in Boise

Where to Watch the World Cup in Boise

by Aaron McFarland

Follow This Is Boise

The biggest event for soccer fans is nearly here! The 2026 World Cup kicks off on June 11th with 48 teams, three North American host countries (USA included), and a month of soccer that runs from June 11th through July 19th.

Boise isn’t a host city, but the Treasure Valley has quietly become a real soccer town, with packed pubs, an organized national-team supporters group, and a brand-new pro club in Athletic Club Boise. When the U.S. men’s national team kicks off, there will be flags on the walls, scarves in the air, and standing room only in many Boise-area places.

Here’s your guide to the best places to catch every match around the area, from Boise, to Meridian, Garden City, and beyond. With matches running morning to night across three time zones, there’s a game on almost every hour of the day — perfect excuse to find your spot now.

The USMNT Schedule (Mountain Time)

The U.S. landed in Group D. Mark your calendar:

USA vs. Paraguay — Friday, June 12, 7:00 PM MT
USA vs. Australia — Friday, June 19, 1:00 PM MT
USA vs. Turkey — Thursday, June 25, 8:00 PM MT

Tips for a Great Matchday

Arrive early for USMNT games and any Mexico match — the popular spots fill up fast, especially downtown.

Confirm before you go. Many bars don’t post their full World Cup schedule until the tournament is underway. Give them a quick call or take a peek at their socials.

Follow the supporters. American Outlaws Boise (USMNT/USWNT) and AC Boise’s River Guard organize the loudest, most fun watch parties in the valley.

Boise may not be hosting a single match, but there are plenty of places to get in the World Cup spirit!
